How to make “Carrot Preserve” quick and simple recipe-Jams and Jellies

Carrot Preserve



Key Ingredients

  1. 2 Kg small fresh carrots
  2. 1 Kg Sugar
  3. 1/2 tbsp Citric Acid(preservative to give jam a longer life)



  1. Cut carrots into 2 strips.
  2. Boil in 1/2 liter water until half done.
  3. Drain out the water and keep it aside.
  4. Spread carrots out to cool.
  5. Make a thick syrup of sugar and carrot water.
  6. Add citric acid and cook till syrup thickens.
  7. Add carrots and cook for 10 minutes or till carrots get coated with the sugar.
  8. Turn mixture out onto a tray and allow to cool.
  9. Then fill into jar.
