Sago Chakli Recipe
- 1/2 kg sabudana (sago pearls)
- 100 gm potatoes
- 4 green chilies or 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds powdered coarsely
- 1 lemon
- Salt and sugar to taste
Soak sago in water over night in such a way that by morning it is moist and soft without any left over water. If there is, drain it off.
Boil, peel and mash the potatoes while still hot. Mix all the ingredients well, fill the mixture in chakli mould and make small chaklis on a polythene sheet in the sun. Dry for two days and store in an airtight tin.
