How to make Cabbage Rolls Recipe, Homemade Snacks Recipe in English

Cabbage Rolls

You will need –

  • 16 cabbage leaves (2 per person)
  • 2 or 3 medium sized potatoes
  • boiled and mashed coarsely
  • 1 tblsp. grated cheese
  • 1 medium sized onion finely minced
  • 1 tblsp. chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tblsp. chopped mint leaves
  • salt and chili powder to taste
  • 4 tblsp. gram flour
  • salt and chili powder to taste
  • a pinch of turmeric
  • Oil for frying.


  1. Dip the cabbage leaves in boiling water for a minute or so. Remove and take out the thicker veins with a sharp knife, taking care to keep the leaf intact.
  2. Make a thick batter with the gram flour, salt and chili powder.
  3. Mix rest of the ingredients well. Put some mixture on a cabbage leaf and fold into a roll. Dip in the batter and deep fry. Serve hot.
