“Tamarind Jam”, “इमली का जैम”
- 1 kg ripe tamarind (Imli)
- 1 ½ kg Sugar
- 6 cup of water (or more if required)
Peel tamarind and cook in a heavy pan with 1 cup of water on low or medium flame. Remove seeds and strain out all the pulp. Pour pulp again into pan and add the sugar. Cook stirring constantly till jam thickens.
Then pour into a jar and store in refrigerator.
