How to make “Guava Cheese” quick and simple recipe-Jams and Jellies


Guava Cheese

Key Ingredients


  1. 5 Kg Ripe Guavas
  2. 1/4 Liter Lemon juice
  3. 5 Kg Sugar
  4. 150 gm Clarified butter (desi ghee)
  5. Red colour (food colour)



  1. Peel and cut guavas in halves. Scoop out all the seeds.
  2. Cook guavas in 1 liter of water till very soft. Mash till smooth.
  3. To the guava pulp add sugar, lemon juice and clarified butter(ghee) and cook on strong heat stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
  4. When thick, add colour and mix well.
  5. Cook till very thick.
  6. Grease a plate with clarified butter and pour the guava cheese onto it.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into pieces.
